Nat Mengist, M.Ed., M.S.

Principal Consultant

I’m a Washington-born child of Ethiopian immigrants (Amhara) and a PhD student in Learning Sciences and Human Development at the University of Washington, where my research focuses on both qualitative and quantitative evaluation of emotional and relational capacity building at Sawhorse Revolution.

My first facilitation gig was in 2018 and I began executive coaching in 2020. I’ve held roles designing research infrastructure for the NSF-funded Learning in Places project, steering The Common Acre into an era of Indigenous leadership, and currently manage fundraising efforts for Nurturing Roots.
